At Gichinis Kitchen, food has always been about bringing people together.
Our journey began in Kenya, East Africa, where our roots and love for flavour first took shape. Nearly 40 years ago, we made the UK our home, embracing British cuisine while keeping the flavours and traditions of our heritage close to our hearts.
With culinary training and a passion for cooking, we've brought together the best of both worlds: comforting British favourites and delicious East African-inspired dishes, all prepared with care.
A few years ago, we began sharing our homemade meals with our local community through our family-run takeaway kitchen. Today, we're excited to return and welcome both familiar faces and new customers to Gichinis Kitchen.
We're not a big restaurant chain. We're a family who genuinely loves cooking. Our meals are freshly prepared, made from scratch, and created with the same care we'd put into cooking for our own family.
